What's new

Changes and new features on Oombar, newest first.

  1. Team bars

    • Bars can now be tagged as a home for a team's fans, like a Cleveland Browns bar or a Sunderland bar.
    • Search by team to find those bars first. Nicknames work too, so "Spurs" finds a Tottenham Hotspur bar.
    • Know a team bar? Name the team on the report form.
    • Every NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, NWSL and Premier League team is suggested as you type.

  2. WNBA League Pass and ZIP code search

    • WNBA League Pass is now a tracked package, with its own filter and report checkbox.
    • Search by ZIP code. Every bar address now includes its ZIP.

  3. Hello, Oombar

    • The site has a new name: Oombar. Out of market, not out of reach.
    • Portland now lives at oombar.com/pdx, ready for more cities. Older links still work.
    • A new home page explains what out-of-market means.
    • Questions? Email info@oombar.com.

  4. Launch

    • Find 82 Portland sports bars by the out-of-market TV packages they carry: NFL Sunday Ticket, NFL RedZone, NBA League Pass, NHL Center Ice, MLB Extra Innings and MLS Season Pass.
    • Fans can report the packages a bar has or doesn't have, or add a missing bar. Every report is reviewed before it appears.
    • No email needed to report. A quick bot check keeps out spam.
